LET’S MAKE A CHANGE

There are so many misconceptions and superstitions about what is happening in the world today. Sometimes I get worried and I felt like talking to every young people around me about making changes in our neighbourhood. I have been criticized many times that change cannot happen so soon. Do you know how long the world has been in slavery, I mean 21st century slavery? This is not a problem of Africa or continent wise. This is a problem with everyone and I look forward to seeing a day when all these things will come to an end.

I believe so much in teamwork and I am proud of my group in Nigeria and South Africa for doing us proud. You can lose with good teams but you can’t win without them. After the United Nations Millennium goal plans, how many youth are still faithful to those plans? My purpose of writing is to make a change and not to criticize anyone.

I can’t forget Michael Jackson’s evergreen track about making the world a better place. That is one of my source of inspirations because the music touch my soul and my passion grows bigger whenever I listen to it. Don’t we want to make the world a better place for all? Johannesburg has been rated of the dangerous place in the world whereas crime lurks everywhere. There are many things we need to fix in our society. There is no point in fixing a problem in another man’s neighbourhood when you are also having a problem in your own neighbourhood.

Everyone can support the ADONAI FAMILY FOUNDATION in anyway. Volunteering service, Materials and Financial donations are welcome so as to contribute to the society.

Don’t wait for the municipal government to come and fix things up. You can do it too, lets join hands together and make the world a better place.

Yours Truly,

Samuel Owolabi
